Characteristics
Zeus is a unique ranged unit of decent power and HP. They throw Thunderbolts out of both hands that will conduct to nearby units, causing a lightning chain. Zeus can single-handedly deal with weak hordes with their lightning, but may face problems with big and high HP units.
Appearance
Zeus is a large Wobbler that holds Thunderbolts in each of their hands. They have luscious locks of dirty blond hair and grand beard with hairs that resemble lightning bolts. Zeus also dawns an olive wreath around the sides of their head. They also wear a bright white toga that's is suspended by their left shoulder. On it is also a golden lightning bolt symbol and is strapped together by a golden belt. Zeus also wears short sandals. The deity will throw their thunderbolts at enemies that can string across multiple units.
Usage
Despite its mediocre damage output, Zeus can be a great asset to the players army while encountering enemy units during Campaign.
Zeus has decent range and pretty swift attack speed, for it can easily deal with hordes of weaker enemies as the bolts deal decent damage and will arc. Even though they have a large health pool, they should be protected by other troops.
Zeus' attack will chain towards nearby units, so they are most effective against large armies of weak infantry, whereas Zeus is much less effective against small armies of units with high health such as Minotaur or The King.
Trivia
- Zeus used to be weaker with very low health and low damage, but it got buffed, making them a more viable option.
- In the video showcasing Zeus, they attacked much faster, didn't have such a curly beard, and had a full robe that covered their chest completely.
- Zeus' lightning used to just pass through units, not staying on to a unit. This is no longer the case however.
- It is based off of the Greek god of thunder, lightning, the sky, kingship, honor, and justice (whom is also called Zeus).
- Zeus' thunderbolts can be deflected by the Samurai Giant.
- Zeus is the only unit with a name that starts with Z.
